Metro Notorious Kidnapper, Evans, Files Application For Bail

Alleged kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans, has filed an application seeking to be released on bail and for his case to be given an accelerated hearing.

While reacting to the application, the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions, Ms. Titilayo Shitta-Bay, described the bail application, seeking accelerated hearing filed alongside an application seeking to quash the charges as conflicting, confusing and an abuse of court processes.

Shitta-Bay said it is a ploy to frustrate the trial.

Court proceedings are underway.

Andrew Uchendu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC has spoken has spoken on the frosty relationship between Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and Transport Minister, Rotimi Amaechi.    According to Daily Post, Uchendu, who was recently declared the winner of the Rivers East senatorial election by the state election tribunal, spoke during the unity rally/thanksgiving organised by the Obio/Akpor LGA caucus leader, Chikordi Dike. Uchendu said, “There is no Rivers son that has made the kind of contribution Rotimi Amaechi has made in my life.
