A civil society organization, under the aegis of Forum for Good Governance and Probity (FGGP), has described the former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, as one of the court jesters of the ex-President Goodluck Jonathan. According to the group, Fani-Kayode had constantly demonstrated he was not only hungry but also possessed crude, witless and uncultured mannerism. Politics Buhari Commences 2-Day Visit To South-east

President Muhammadu Buhari will tomorrow (Tuesday) commence a two-day visit to South-eastern part of the country to commission some projects and flyovers. The President will visit Ebonyi and end its visitation to Anambra on Wednesday.   The Ebonyi state governor, David Umahi last week told state house correspondents that the people of the state are “fully prepared” to receive the president. He said Buhari would commission some projects carried out by his administration during the visit, including roads and flyovers.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to stay away from Biafraland, else there will be bloodshed. Buhari is scheduled to visit Ebonyi state on Tuesday, and Anambra the day after. In a statement issued on Monday, Emma Powerful, IPOB spokesman, said: “we (IPOB members) will die with him should he set his foot on the sacred land of Biafra”. “Tuesday 14th November 2017 will be recorded in history as a very bloody day should that Jubril masquerading as Buhari attempt to land on Biafran soil,” the statement read. “He is coming to mock us and to urinate on the graves of our 91 brethren his Operation Python Dance killed in Abia State. Metro Fani Kayode Reveals IPOB Leader Nnamdi Kanu's Whereabouts

Femi Fani-Kayode, on Sunday insisted that the Nigerian Army kidnapped the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu from his home. However, Fani-Kayode, who took to his Twitter handle described the actions of soldiers, who allegedly “abducted” Kanu as “heartless and unacceptable.” He wrote: “IPOB leader Nnamdi Nnamdi’s home was attacked, his staff, friends and supporters were slaughtered, his siblings were maimed, his parents were brutalised, his dogs were shot, his cars were burnt and he was abducted by the Nigerian Army. President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday backed Governor Nasir El-Rufai's competency test for teachers in Kaduna. The competency test has generated a lot of controversy owing to mass sack of over 20,000 teachers in the state who failed the primary four test. President Buhari, who opened a Special Retreat of the Federal Executive Council on the challenges facing Nigeria's education sector in Abuja, said there is urgent need for comprehensive national reform. The President while touchong on the Kaduna situation, said: “It's a very serious situation when teachers cannot pass the exams they're supposed to administer to their students. “It underscores the urgent need for comprehensive national reform. “Governor El-Rufai is trying to implement important reforms”, the president said.

The Indigenous People of Biafra on Sunday described as false the allegation that the group intended to disrupt the November 18 governorship election in Anambra State. In a statement made in Awka, Anambra State by the group’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said the instruction to its members and others was for them to boycott the poll not to disrupt it. Two Nigerian Airports have been ranked among the world's most worst 20 airport. These are: Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa and Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos. This is outcome of a survey by renowned aviation organization, Sleep in Airport (sleepinairports.net). The website ranked Lagos the fifth worst airport in the world, while Port Harcourt was ranked the third worst airport globally. The controversial Radio Biafra, the mouthpiece of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), reportedly hit the airwaves about 6am-7am on Sunday morning. According to Independent Newspaper report, the radio immediately announced the sack of Nnamdi Kanu, as director and leader of IPOB. The newspaper reported that the Radio Biafra’s programme started with the lady announcer, who gave her name as Ifeoma Okorafor, stating that the radio was back on air and that IPOB was restructuring.
