Abubakar Shekau is a Mad Man - COAS Buratai

Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff, Gen. T. Buratai has described Abubakar Shekau, the estranged leader of a faction of terror group Boko Haram as a mad man. Speaking on Monday in Yola, Gen. Tukur condemned Shekau's new video where he claimed to be alive and in Good health. “He – Shekau – is a mad man," Gen. Tukur said. “We don’t have anything to tell him, he is on his way to his waterloo.’’ He added that the Nigerian army had stabilised the security situation in the North-East and called on the Federal Government and government of the affected states to give priority attention to issues of peace building, reconstruction and humanitarian needs. So this is about the new N20 and N50 recharge cards, my discovery last week, while taking a walk through my neighbourhood. Strolls every Saturday morning, turns out to be a delight for me these days as humour lies in every street corner, there never seems to be a dull moment on the Lagos streets. Back to my discovery; the N20 and N50 recharge cards. Having walked through 3 streets, I decided to stop at a shop to have some water; As I gulped down the water I had just bought, a young lady came to make a purchase at the store. Well, I was not in a hurry to leave and so I stood by the corner waiting for my change while the store owner; a woman, attended to the lady. The lady handed her a N20 bill and requested for recharge card. Looking at the duo, I waited for another bill to follow, to at the least, make up a N100 which of cause is what I felt is the lowest recharge card denomination, nothing followed and the woman went into the shop without saying a word. APC Leadership Tussle, Bola TInubu Calls For Oyegun's Resignation

National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called for the resignation of the national chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun for sabotaging the will of the Ondo people and derailing from the path of progressives. In a communiqué from his media office, Tinubu accused Oyegun of sabotaging the will of democracy in Ondo State by overriding the decision of the appeal panel that asked for a fresh governorship primary following investigations that showed that the delegates’ list used had been tampered with. Tinubu further alleged that Oyegun’s action in allegedly subverting the will of the people was not of his doing, saying that for a man of the age of the national chairman to have done what he did that he must have been under the influence of a “powerful and sinister arm at work.” He said that the APC was now under threat of being suffocated by anti-democratic forces pretending to be progressives.
