Politics Jonathan Must Appear As Witness – Justice Abang Rules

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Wednesday mandated its bailiff to serve former President Goodluck Jonathan with summons within five days.

Justice Abang Okon held that the order will enable Jonathan to appear in court to testify in the trial of former National Publicity Secretary of the People Democratic Party, PDP, Olisah Metuh.

The judge also ordered the prosecution to persuade the Department of State Security (DSS) to produce the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki in court at the next trial date.

Sports Batshuayi Brace Inspires Chelsea to Victory Against Watford

Michy Batshuayi came off the bench to score twice as Chelsea fought back from behind to win a six-goal thriller against Watford. Chelsea were on the back foot for much of this contest at Stamford Bridge but two goals from Batshuayi, either side of an 87th-minute header from Cesar Azpilicueta, snatched the champions a much-needed 4-2 victory. For a while, Chelsea looked on course for a third straight Premier League loss when Abdoulaye Doucoure and Roberto Pereyra's goals put Watford 2-1 up before Batshuayi and then Azpilicueta instigated the turnaround. Business Nigeria Immigration Service Rules Out Visa On Arrival For Africans

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has said that there was no policy for issuance of visa on arrival Africans visiting the country. A statement by the Service’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Sunday James, an Assistant Comptroller of Immigration (ACI), said the clarification had become necessary, in view of a “recently circulated visa policy”.
