Politics Buhari Lists 8 Achievements At APC NEC Meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday listed eight achievements of his administration during the All Progressives Congress, NEC meeting in Abuja.

Buhari said the APC change is real and it is here to stay.

“Our Change, the Change that the APC represents, is here to stay.

“We will stay united as a Party and continue to work for the good of Nigeria”.

“I must therefore thank all stakeholders, as well as a number of non-APC members who have consistently risen above petty partisan interests.

“The APC is proud of our achievements in the last 2 years”

The achievements, according to the President include:

1. the fight against Boko Haram,

2. Agric Revolution,

3. Improved Power,

4. Peace in the Delta

5. We've seen regular supply of petroleum products,

6. a successful Presidential Fertilizer Initiative; & TSA Implementation. This change is real.

7. Internationally, Nigeria's prestige and credit-worthiness have gone up. We have regained our respect on the International stage.

8. The World Bank released its latest Business Rankings report. We moved up 24 places,& are one of the world's 10 most improved countries

Business Radio Continental Goes Off Air Today, Changes To Max Radio

Radio Continental, one of Continental Broadcasting Service, CBS station is going off air today. Recall that  C ontinental Broadcasting Service, CBS, owners of Television Continental (TVC), Radio Continental, had in June 2017 relieved 145 workers from its workforce. The CEO has explained that the mass retrench of workers became imperative because the stations are not commercially viable. It is also believed in some quarters that the station is shutting down programming and others due to political tension arising from its alleged owner, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Politics Fayose Is Right In Calling For Buhari's Resignation - Ozekhome

Human rights lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, has spoken in support of Governor Ayo Fayose's call for President Muhammadu Buhari's resignation.    Speaking in an interview with Channels TV, Ozekhome said, "We have seen a situation where what Dora Akunyili famously referred to as the cabal. Metro Adeboye, Oyedepo Tell Buhari to Remove Nigeria From Int'l Islamic Organizations

Prominent Christian leaders in Nigeria including General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and the Presiding Bishop, Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, have urged the Nigerian government to exit all international Islamic organisations it was part of.
