Politics Babangida Finally Confesses: PDP Fully Behind Formation and Registration of APDA

Niger state's governor Babangida Aliyu has admitted that the Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP, is behind the formation, registration and creation of the Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA).

Speaking when he hosted AIT's Raymond Dokpesi, he said after the 14 months leadership crisis that rocked the party, there was need to “rebuild, re-brand and rejuvenate the party’’ ahead of the 2019 elections.

He said some PDP members actually thought of preparing alternative party for committed members, should the recent Supreme Court judgment become unfavourable for the party.

The former governor said that not only was it agreed by some PDP members to be involved in the registration of APDA, PDP also had discussion with 17 other political parties for coalition.

Politics Fayose Is Right In Calling For Buhari's Resignation - Ozekhome

Human rights lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, has spoken in support of Governor Ayo Fayose's call for President Muhammadu Buhari's resignation.    Speaking in an interview with Channels TV, Ozekhome said, "We have seen a situation where what Dora Akunyili famously referred to as the cabal.
