Metro House Of Reps Shocker: Obsolete Equipment Worth Billions Abandoned In 14 Nigerian Hospitals

The Nigerian House of Representatives’ Committee on Health, has made a shocking discovery of obsolete equipment worth billions in several hospitals across the nation, the Guardian newspaper reports.

Although the Guardian report mention only the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH), but it noted that there were 13 other institutions affected.

The report also mentioned Vamed Engineering Nigeria Ltd as the alleged source of the obsolete equipment.
