Chelsea Thrash Everton 5-0, Go Top of Premier League

For the first time this season Chelsea are sitting top of the Premier League.

The blues beat Everton 5-0 to move to 25 points, going above Manchester City who played a 1-all draw with Middlesborough earlier in the day.

Hazard put Chelsea ahead with a low angled shot before Marcos Alonso added a second when he slotted through Maarten Stekelenburg's legs.

Diego Costa made it 3-0 from a corner just before half-time and Hazard scored the pick of the goals after the break.

Pedro put the gloss on the result when he tapped into an empty net.

Chelsea will be displaced from the top if either of Arsenal or Liverpool, who play tomorrow, win their matches.
